If you enjoy varmint hunting on the open range lands, the Hubbard Creek area of Colorado is a "shooter's paradise". Both guided and non-guided hunts are available through Hubbard Creek Outfitters.

Down in the lowlands where Hubbard Creek Outfitters has both private lands and access to plenty of Bureau of Land Management acreage, prairie dog towns are nearly endless, and varmint hunters can literally shoot all day long.! Prairie dogs are so numerous in these open range areas that shots come at anywhere from 25 yards and all the way out to 400 yards or more.
