Big game bowhunters in search of quality elk, mule deer and black bear will find plenty of game rich areas with Hubbard Creek Outfitters. Our bow hunting areas include virtually all of the renowned Hubbard Creek area of Colorado, with plenty of uncrowded National Forest lands and over 5000 acres of private property.

Our experienced guides know the game, their habits and their travel patterns. Working together with the hunter, we often stalk, sit and can call to bring in the game to the close in ranges needed to make that trophy shot.

In the early fall, when the archery season takes place in Colorado—bowhunters always have the privilege of being the “first to the field,” when the deer, elk and bear are least worried about sensing these early hunters in the back country. Bowhunters are not only the first hunters into the field each season, but no advance drawings or purchasing of tags are required. You can obtain your hunting license and appropriate tags once you arrive here in Colorado, or you can purchase them in advance from the Colorado Division of Wildlife.

Our big game hunts furnish you with top guides, excellent cooks, horses, vehicles and all the camping gear and equipment. Our well-trained mountain horses are strong and gentle.

We provide all the transportation from Grand Junction to your hunting camp and back after the hunt is over. After the thrill of the hunt is over--- we can help with game care of the meat, care for the trophy in the field, transportation to the processor of your game, and transportation of your trophy to a quality taxidermist.
